YESSS IT'S LIKE THIS TOPIC WAS MADE FOR THIRTEEN YEAR OLD ME.
Which season are you watching? Who is your favourite character? How many of you are now going to pretend you don't know me?

If you, as a mature and learned student of life, the universe, and... well, everything really... Well if you can tell me that Digimon is a work of cartoon fiction which is well written and presented, captures the imagination, and delivers entertainment that stays with you beyond childhood years, I would seriously consider looking it up.
Then again, I still watch The Weekenders frequently on Youtube, and want to find torrent downloads for CBBC classics such as The Demon Headmaster, The Queen's Nose, Round the Twist, and The Worst Witch (which is CITV actually I think).
And the only reason I haven't mentioned the thouroughlly enjoyable Aquilla yet is because I've already watched the whole series recently...
I love it!

I bought the first couple seasons of Round The Twist on DVD recently but haven't gotten around to watching them yet. Ah, 90s kids' TV. And The Demon Headmaster! Now I want to torrent that, too. Digimon is -- well -- um -- ... IT DELIVERS ENTERTAINMENT, YES. There are sometimes EXPLOSIONS, that's enough, right? I would say the first two seasons are pretty well-written and deserve a watch even now, but only if you can find them in subbed form. (I'll admit it, that's how I spent my downtime this summer when I found a torrent of the second season.) The dubbed version is only watchable when you're under fourteen. Unfortunately, the first season has never been subbed and the second doesn't make all that much sense without the first. Well, to be fair, the last third or so doesn't make sense anyway, but-- I'm not selling it, am I?

You torrent it... Let's just say that torrent immediately makes me think of water. And I have no idea what you're talking about. So, have you never watched it Tom? It's like Pokemon, only better! I was watching Season one and the first episode. My favourite character is Tai (if that's how you spell it) and Agumon. Although Sora was pretty cool, too. And Garumon! T.K. and Patamon are so cute! ;D I will now pretend not to know you for the sheer hell of it: Who are you? Why are you on this website? And why did you register? Are you stalking us, planning to use as some experiment where we turn into zombies? Or make us Stare at Goats till they die?

TK is my favourite. Partly because he gets to punch Ken in the face in the second season. Anyone who punches the bad guy in the face automatically wins.

To be fair, I did rewatch it this summer and it was pretty much like watching it for the first time, since it had been about seven years. And in those seven years, I had made up bits that I thought were in the show that really weren't. THE TRICKS YOU PLAY, MEMORY.

The film was a childhood favourite of mine however. I even almost bought it the other day. Scary shiz that one.

Aw, my God the film! Awesome! ;D Apart from the bit where they show you that Tai had actually met Agumon before as had his wee sister (what's her name again?) and he doesn't recognise him when he meets him in later life. And he wasn't that young that he wouldn't be able to remember it at the time he "re-meets" Agumon.

In-- in fairness-- ohgod here comes my nerdery--
The show was only commissioned for thirteen episodes at first; they only came up with the rest of the season (and first movie) after already writing all of those. So they had to add in backstory that didn't quite mesh with the start of the show. Although really, Tai is kind of a dumbass so it totally makes sense that he'd forget anyway, DIGIMON ARE NOT AS COOL AS SPORTS to him.
p.s. his sister is called Kari.

Ah, Kari. Kari was cute in the first season. What was her Digimon again? P.S. It looks like we're the only one interested in this...

WE ARE TOO AWESOME FOR EVERYONE ELSE.
Her Digimon was Gatomon. She was ~*dark side*~ at first, but redeemed herself and all that jazz. Pretty decent Star Wars-y morals for a kids' show, really.

I once found a Hentai picture of the digimon females. That put me right off watching the show, ever!
