So my flatmate suggested that we have an omnibus of George Romero's Zombie Films at some point in the future (obviously after the exams...)
Would anyone be interested in coming over to see them all?

Are all of these omnibuses/omnibi/omnibodes happening in one sitting?

We'd need a lot of alcohol.
TO THE SUPERMARKET.

Pete: That wouldn't be physically possible. I'd like to try it, but I'd also like to live. So chances are these will be isolated omni-somethings, we'll decide which one first and when post-exams Spidey: Erm, it's not an alcohol event, there's not gonna be any -* Bwhahaha! Man... I couldn't keep that up with a straight face. If possible could you just bring the supermarket with you so we can do bi-minutely raids on the alcohol aisles?

As if you would try and make me sit through The Phantom Menace without Jack Daniels...
We should get one of those online deliveries or something. Just a truck full of alcohol. Think Tesco would do that?

I don't think Tesco direct would refuse to deliver an order just because it was made up of nothing but alcohol. Hrrrmmm... Worth investigating, this idea is...

Give me a Tesco Direct deliveryman on minimum wage with an Omnibus worth of alcohol to deliver and I'll show you the vacant spot he used to occupy before vanishing from the face of the Earth.

Ah, that's harsh, Stewart!
We should do one on Saturday! ;D
Saying that, if it's not finished by about half past 10, I'd have to go - got somewhere more important to be on Sunday morning.

I have to agree with Stewart, there's no way in hell someone would be subjected to that much booze and not at least consider stealing it.

Oh... I thought Stewart was going on about killing the guy... But, still, there are some honest people out there - he/she might not do such a thing...

I've been wondering what the plural of "omnibus" is so I finally Googled it.
Apparently, the Latin word was already plural and- actually:
Omnibus is a Latin word meaning "for all (people)" and has 3 main meanings in standard English: A vehicle for transporting large numbers of people. See bus. A book or video collecting two or more previous works by the same author or director. See omnibus (media) . For a soap opera or similar broadcast it is a compilation of daily episodes that is usually broadcast during the following weekend. See omnibus (broadcast)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Note: Omnibus had no plural in Latin, because it was already a plural word. In English, its plural is "omnibuses", not "omnibi", which is a solecism.
Therefore, we have to prepare for loads of omnibuses! ;D
