Yes it is. Brerak is a rather common word round our way. It is merely one of the rambunctuous vernacles that makes the east ends language more grossescent.

Rambunctuous: A nonesense word invented to take the piss.

I was about to launch into a story featuring the Potter Puppet Pals, then realised it would highlight my extreme nerdiness, then realised you all knew about that anyway, then realised it was actually a pretty boring story anyway, especially with all this tedious explaining involved.
