"I can hear you muttering you know... and no, though i have heard of him... and once received fan mail from someone who has at the very least the same name...The man I was looking for is my old tag team partner. Did ANY member of this group ever watch the International Wrestling Company???"
*International Wrestling Company hithero shortened to IWC*

I wasn't muttering, that was inner monologue. "This is muttering." **** "Can't say I did. What about you guys?" At which point I hand the conversation over to someone else. I don't like this guys telepathy. I've had enough of that shit to last a lifetime.

After comforting Blanka about his epic fail, Fire Bear glares at Pete for making a decision without much consultation. He may have saved our lives, but it doesn't mean he can decide things all on his own. He's not God.
After listening to Pete's conversation, Fire Bear pipes up: "This guy's name... What was it? It wouldn't be Joulnath by any chance?"

Again, not actually voicing these things out loud to the group. I'm just pointing out, we know he was going to be coming with us, can we skip formalities. I don't want another 50 page epic.

"That was not the name I knew him as. He was Monsoon when I knew him, although I will admit that during my search I almost never heard the name Monsoon without hearing Joulnath in the same sentence..."

You're suggesting that Joulnath, the scholar, is a former ICW Tag-Team wrestler?
...
Wrong.

Fine. She doesn't glare. Instead we have a five minute discussion along the lines of:
"Should we take him along? Do you want to take him along?"
"Sure." "Whatever." "May as well."
End.
...
I thought it would tie in nicely...

"He's.... the reason me, Starlong and Enigma were travelling together in the first place. We'll never know who he was to Enigma, but.... Who was he to you, Starlong?"

[New Character!]
Name: Tsunami Job: Pro-Wrestler (Face)
Job Aptitude: Intimidating Presence: This guy, when present at any persuasion checks, grants +1 to the speaker's roll.
Job Sucktitude: Scripted Fighter: This guy just can't leave his Kayfabian days behind him. When prompted, roll for a Kayfabe check. If failed, the character must hand the advantage over to the opponent; this can be very dangerous.
Special Ability 1: Wrestler Arts: When activated, the player declares a wrestling move and attempts to pull it off. Effects include clinching, knock-outs, crippling injuries. These effects can, for the most part, rebound if the roll is failed.
Special Ability 2: Tag-Team: This character can 'tag' with an ally to swap places with them. This move can be used to swap a heavily injured character with a healthier one, thus creating a better SM/more options to deal with the danger. The tag must be within physical reason (requires hand touch) and needs the consent of both players before the tag can commence. Only works if this character (Tsunami) is one of the taggers.
Perks: -) Fists of Dan McGrew (+2 to SM when fighting with fists) -) Kevlar Back: This character has the ability to lift incredibly heavy objects. -) Entrance Music: Sneaking is impossible for this character. Everything from the loud clothes, to the heavy-metal opening music that accompanies his entrance into every building betrays his presence. All sneaking attempts automatically fail. -) Team player: As a part of a tag team back in the day, this character has become accustomed to having someone watch his back. He gains +1 to SM whenever he is with a teammate but suffers a penalty of 3 to SM when alone.

I'm gonna give a heads-up on what's going on from what has already been brought out into the open and isn't a secret.
-) Joulnath is a scholar with a vested interest in funding expeditions to uncover lost sites of interest, usually related to technology. He funds expeditions through the Adventurer's Society; a global enterprise whose founder wanted to bring adventurers together, coordinating and supporting their forays into the great unknown. It's common for investors and aristocrats to fund expeditions, or sponsor specific adventurers.
-) One of the adventurers that Joulnath sponsors is Starlong, and the two have enjoyed a profitable business relationship. Recently, Joulnath sent Starlong (along with Fire Bear and Enigma) to the Longshot Tavern on the New London waterfront. Aside from gathering information from the innkeeper, it was also an opportunity for him to bring the people he has carefully groomed for an expedition to the Rainbow Road together.
-) Fire Bear knows Joulnath but the context of this is not yet known.
-) Enigma's connection to Joulnath is also unknown.
-) Captain Pete is a privateer who apparently fell from his airship one day and cannot remember how. He is waiting for the day he stumbles across both his ship and his crew. Until then, he's grounded with you guys.
-) Vinny is a hitchhiker you picked up on the road. His motivations for coming with you are unknown, but he seems to be uncannily familiar with all types of technology...
-) Tsunami was a pro-wrestler in the IWC, the only surviving wrestling federation. He was a tag-team champion with his partner, Monsoon, before being seriously injured after his partner did a face/heel turn and performed an illegal move, damaging Tsunami's knee and ankle. He since left the wrestling circuit and drifted to this farm.
