For shits and giggles, I threw in some Stephen King and got J.R.R. Tolkien.
Which is actually pretty good, since I was using a passage from the Dark Tower which King freely admits was inspired heavily by Lord of the Rings. And here I thought I'd be able to mock the thing.

It would appear to be correct. I threw in some Neil Gaiman and it said he wrote like Arthur Conan Doyle.
The extract? Opening paragraphs from "A Study in Emerald", his Lovecraftian rewrite of Sherlock Holmes' first adventure.

I get someone different every single time.
However, it woul seem I write my uni assignments in the style of Cory Doctorow and David Foster Wallace.
Even better, the original "Look Out Tom!" story is in the style of H.P. Lovecraft (the newer pieces are Mark Twain)

I posted this masterpiece:
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa; aaaaaaaaaa, aaaaaaaaaa, aaaaaaaaaa. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaa, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, aaaaaaaa? aaaaaaaaaa! aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa; aaaaaaaaaaa, aaaaaaaaaaaaaa. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. aaaaaaaa. aaaaaaaaaaa.
aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa; aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa. aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa? aaaaaaaaaaaaaa.
Which reminds the app, of course, of Stephenie Meyer; author of the Twilight series.

So apparently the both pieces in the series of short stories I'm doing is like Ursula K. Le Guin (don't know her), one about a sea voyage is Robert Louis Stevenson, the one about an afterlife is like J.K Rowling and the one about zombies is like Cory Doctorow (don't know him either).
Fairly sure I've tried this site before but put something I'd blogged into it and had never heard of the author it came up with...

I composed this:
Memoirs of a Bodyguard: A True Story
There was a speech going down in congress when someone burst through the crowd and tried to gun down the man I was hired to protect. I pointed dramatically at the would-be offender, yelled 'Look out, he's got a groin!' and then BODYGUARD DIVED with a bellowed 'NOOOOOOOO!!!!' to save the president's life.
That was without a doubt the KODAK moment of my life.
The End...?
*** And I got KURT VONNEGUT! Fuckin' A!
