So MGS4 borders on ridiculous, GTA4 is just more of the same, and Pro Ev isn't trying anymore.
Enter Little Big Planet (I made a wee depressed Red Baron and am going through the game while taking holiday snaps) and the colossus that is Fallout 3.
It occurs to me that the component for success is hard work. Like, meticulously hard work. Bethesda Studios who developed Fallout 3 spent a good long while producing a sprawling wasteland for all us sinners to enjoy. As a result, they win E3 (Big new game show, like that place car manufacturers show off their latest concept models) and a good many people like myself learn to love games again.
Good lesson for life, that. And it's what my sycophantic Manager said to me, too, and I was forced to agree. In anything we do, creative or otherwise, we have to try hard.

"Goodbye to all that" is exactly what I said when I started playing Fallout 3! ;D And I'll probs be saying it again when they bring out the extra content for it.
Although I think I'm going to be saying "Goodbye to all that" at the mo, as I've started watching Cowboy Bebop again, and I forgot how awesome it is!
