Pish. Absolute pish. Fight scenes were strobey and unimpressive. Tries to be stylish and attempts impressive moves but the slow-motion makes it look cheap. In fact, most of the effects were cheap. The werewolves (once changed) were stupid. The design was ok, but with the technology these days they could have done so much better. Sometimes I felt like I was watching a crap 80s films just because of the effects. Rhona Mitra was... unemotive and annoying. And surprisingly, since he's usually amazing, Bill Nighy was just irritating. Not that the script particularly allowed for either of them since it was sparse and... bad. Steven Macintosh, whom I love, could have had a much better part. His character in the second film was cool. Not here. The only redeeming feature of this film was Michael Sheen who plays Lucien (and did so in the other films as well). Again, the script limited him, but he was better than the others. It didn't work as the third of the three. Shouldn't the third have had something to do with Selene and Michael again, and then they go back after that? Maybe I'm just biased because of the usual trilogy pattern. Didn't work anyway.
I was actually looking forward to it (my mistake) and I was very disappointed.
That doesn't mean you won't like it though.

No, I watched Frost/Nixon on Sunday and Underworld on Monday. Because I'm cool.
