Or Walkure if you're German. I know there should be an umlaut in there somewhere, but I don't have a freakin' clue how to add that into my typing, so I choose to ignore it.
Just saw the film last night and I really enjoyed it. Apparently there's a lotta criticism going around because it's Americanised, like all WW2 films are these days, but I didn't see it as being that overt. The film was good at keeping the tension up throughout and there were quite a few above-average performances from the cast, so I was happy.

But it's Tom Cruise! He's weird.

You'd have to be to advertise your "official site" at the top of one of our threads.

Bah to him, and bah to Americanisation.
U-42, now there's a Gerrman war film. No politics there, just the tense adrenaline-dripping story of a U-boat crew doing their best to get home from missions in one piece. All in German sub-titles. And after half an hour you're glued to the screen and willing them on. Great senseless ending, too.
On that note, did anyone see Zati (Zatoichi) recently? I know a few of you have seen it before but it was on recently. What a wonderfully bizarre film.

Zati is a japenese film about a blind massuese delivering JUSTICE to a decadent society. It is mad in the best possible sense.

I know what Valkyrie's about; I've seen the trailers and I've read about it in the PreVUE I got a while ago.
I once saw a Korean film, but I can't remember what it's called. This guy makes a doll based on the woman he loves, someone kills woman, people think he did it, he is killed, doll is alive, gets pissed off, takes her revenge centuries later when the men-who-killed-those-people's descendant's go to be models for dolls. People are killed.
Does anyone know what it's called?

No it's called Doll Master, actually.
It's got nothing to do with Chucky.

Gah! My bullshit is undone yet again by basic investigation! Damn those pesky Wikids. (You see, they're kids and they solve crimes using wikipedia to learn basic things about the world such as ways to help fight pollution and how to participate in upcoming elections even if you don't have a vote. Hence 'wikids'. It will be the next big kid's hit show, with the Evil Duke Diallup, king of slow internet connections and poor netiquett serving as the antagonist on this one.)
