I'm reading it out of my own free will.
I'm learning new things.
Like the fact that she, so far, hates Darcy. I thought she liked him straight away from the way everyone says his name in conjunction with men whom woman have feelings for. (Damn! There is no way to not make that sound cheesy.)
Obviously not.
And it's making me want to say "verily" even though they haven't even mentioned the word...

Verily this book is having quite an impact on young Rebecca.

After you finish it, you should read the zombie version.

I entirely intend to, sir.
Update on where I've got to (for no real reason): Mr. Bingley's buggered off to London with his sisters and Mr. Collins is engaged to Charlotte Lucas. Jane is upset. Mr. Wickham is cheering everyone up, apparently.
And Elizabeth still hates Darcy's guts...

Jane Eyre was good. It has crazy people jumping off buildings in it. Whilst on fire.

I hated that book. Somehow I passed an essay on it having only read the first chapter.

Your loss. I would refer you to the latter part of my previous post.

As a footnote, I have now finished the book. I was actually intrigued by it. I liked it.
