If stories were people, this one would be the Butler from Tomb Raider; the sort of thing you lock in a freezer and hope dies during the night. If stories were cars, this one would be a Ferrari, without an engine, wheels, or chassis. If stories were guns, this one would be a pea-shooter that has run out of ammo. But I'm being harsh. If stories were animals, this one would be a cheetah that has had it's leg and brain amputated. If stories were fads, this one would be a yo-yo without a string. If stories were tattoos, this one would be a right big one saying 'Hairy Dennis Wuz Here', pointing to the rear-port. But I'm being harsh. If stories were allergies, this one would be an allergy to oxygen, water, and blood. If stories were stories then this one would be Heart and Soul. So because your story is your story, that's my sole positive critical remark to make on this venture.
But I'm being harsh.

That has just made me want to read it even more: just to laugh at it. ;D
But that's me being harsh as well, now.

One day, when I am a super famous published author, I will have Stewart write the introduction to one of my books. But only when I decide I am sick of being a published author.

Some 13 page story! I finally get round to reading it and it's only 11. Huh!

I had to finally open the .doc file just to verify that. SHE'S RIGHT. ELEVEN PAGES. I have been misled. (Why had I not opened it before? My procrastination abilities extend beyond uni work.)
Also, I feel like I need to print this off and have a red pen handy. Sorry, Tom. You see what this society has done to me? You guys have created a monster.
("It's" is not the same as "its", remember.)

I told him that in my critique (of damn near everything!)! We're on the same wavelength, dude! ;D (Don't know why I had the urge to say "dude" there... )

The version I read was thirteen pages long. Besides, Tom even put the subject of this thread up as thirteen pages. So it's a formatting issue.
Though it's nice to know that it is now two pages shorter.

I thought the story was good, actually. A little cliched, perhaps, but, still...
