I know this may cause a lot of dismay but I feel the need to point out... the Doctor is a fictional character who can't actually save us from this very real alien threat.
That's why it's up to us to pass our exams whilst still learning to fend off alien invasions.

This seems the appropriate thread, since there isn't a general Doctor Who one and I can't be bothered starting such. tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/ViolentGlaswegianI believe the only words capable of describing the characterisation of Vincent Van Gogh as the above trope are PURE BRILLIANT.

So I was dicking about on the internet and was on the Doctor Who wikipedia page. I'm not one to trust wikipedia myself, but I'll happily voice the rumour that Neil Gaiman has written an episode for the upcoming series. That's reason enough for me to keep watching.

It's not a rumour, I've just read Gaiman's journal and apparently they're doing the table read for his script some time in the next week. It WILL happen, is happening and has already is going to have happened.

And, yeah, Kerri told me she already knew due to reading his journal, etc. so I figured...
