Matt Smith! It was awesome! And they changed the inside of the TARDIS is changed so it looks uberly fantastic! But... But...They changed the colour of the Sonic Screwdriver! I don't care if it now matches River Song's one - I want the blue back!!! Green! How could they?!

I love the new TARDIS! All those random spinning things, and the typewriter, and the gramophone... if I was Amy Pond I'd kick him out and steal it for myself...
Actually, no I wouldn't, he's too funny.

I'm still mulling him over. Perhaps my own personal judgement is cloudy since his performance is what I will inevitably have to base my version of the Doctor on when I take over the role and make a fortune from action figures.

I am in love. I am going to marry Eleven. I may marry Amy Pond, too. We'll leave her adorable boyfriend to fend for himself and go have adventures around time and space together.

Oh, yeah. The new Who. I remember dubbing him Chunky Chin Chap when I first saw him.

I fully intend to watch this new Who with "the Doc who just won't stay dead" mark XI, I just need to get through season 4 and all those special methingybobs first.
And then maybe do an archive binge of Docs 1 through 8.
Did anyone like the Doctor Who movie btw?

Got bored when I saw the Master snake thing, (about 10 mins in) but I did like his renaissance dress sense.
Don't bother with the early stuff. I made the mistake of watching The Talons of Weng-Chiang on MSN video. It was terrible.

I know not of this movie. (I know of the ones with the Daleks and the policeman.)
Oh, and I would love to watch the old ones. My dad still reckons they're better and the new ones are rubbish.
And Amy doesn't have a boyfriend - it's her fiancé.
And I have most of series 4 on DVD, Tom - I shall let you borrow them eventually...

My dad would have to respectfully disagree with your dad. As much as he enjoyed the originals when he was a lad, he agrees with us youngsters that the old serials were far too long winded.

Ach, well. Each to their own.
Anyway, I think my dad thinks the old ones are better cause of the "scarier" Cybermen and Daleks...

I'm going to end this argument right now with a blast of logic. Who can be afraid of an evil alien invader that's stumped by a flight of stairs?

Well, that was how you defeated them. Their one weakness. Dad thinks that it's cheating that they float now.
Besides, if that's the case, why are people scared of other people if they can bleed. And that goes for aliens as well. And which self-respecting alien is going to waste time on us, anyway. And that includes the Doctor.
Sure, there's all the good things we do, but with Torchwood 1 and everything, we shouldn't really be allowed contact with aliens - we're not open-minded enough.
Well, they aren't.
Look, my point is, everyone - Daleks and Cybermen included - has a weakness. It doesn't mean they're not scary.

Everyone and everything does indeed have a weakness.
It's called my fist.

Has anyone else realised that they've put Doctor Who on strategically so later episodes will be occurring during our exams?

Its an alien conspiracy to ruin the qualification chances of our school students thus plunging the economy into crisis when there are no qualified people to take skilled jobs and positions. And then they will strike. STRIKE.
