I don't think this counts as an Anime but I just saw some footage of Batman: Under the Red Hood. The voice cast alone is enough for me. Batman/Bruce Wayne: Bruce Greenwood (he was in Star Trek), Red Hood: Jensen Ackles, Joker: John DiMaggio (Yes, that John DiMaggio.) and Nightwing: Neil, wait for it... Patrick Harris!

Jensen Ackles and Neil Patrick Harris are all to the good, but they've got an animated Joker that ain't voiced by Mark Hammill? Blasphemy!

I, too, was a bit disappointed that I couldn't make Star Wars references when the Joker spoke. But telling Nightwing to suit up and hearing Dean Winchester argue with Batman? Some things money can't buy. But for this DVD, there's Mastercard.
Anime-wise, I'm totally watching the new series of Digimon, haha. It's even more classic-anime-trope than the earlier seasons. The original FMA is, of course, still my all time favourite.

By FMA do you mean Full Metal Alchemist?

I'm seriously considering suggesting we have an IQ test for all new applicants next year.
Better yet, a geek test. If you score less than 80% you're not allowed on certain threads, less than 40% and you're not allowed on the forum at all, and less than 10%...? You'll probably walk into one meeting, turn round and walk straight back out.

All new recruits must be capable of recognising Animes by acronym alone.

They must also have a rudimentary knowledge of comics and be capable of quoting Back To The Future on command. Anyone who doesn't tick those boxes won't fit in with us.

Damn right Pete. All the rest can make like a tree and get out of here.
Cati: you have earned five Fonzie points for your FMA love. Randomly enough, I was actually watching (for the third or fourth time going through the series) that earlier today, just got to the one where Armstrong first introduces himself and fights Scar. ^^
By the way, could I recommend Code Geass to anyone? An anime featuring the most magnificent of all Magnificent Bastards. As the protagonist. (Although I've heard Kira from Death Note rivals this claim; as I've still not watched Death Note, I can't comment one way or the other on that.)

I've not seen the Death Note anime, but I've read a lot of the manga and seen the movie, Kira is indeed a magnificent bastard.

Thanks to Becks, I am now wading my way through One Piece.
And where can I continue watching FMA? You Tube took down all their episodes and I DIDN'T EVEN GET TO SEE ARMSTRONG (Mancrush #42) YET.

Try animefuel.com, they've got a helluva lot of animes available for streaming, I think FMA is on there.
