Hey! Let's go hill-walking at some point - it'd be fun! ;D

We go hill-walking all the time. It's a hazard of coming to Strathclyde.

That is a real hill! I get my daily exercise just walking to the bus stop during the semester.

Once again, Bex, I need to ask you to trust me on this one.
Been there, done that, nearly died. It's not fun. It really isn't.

That's all you know... Once, while walking up Tinto (a relatively easy hill) we all had a right laugh. You see, my sister saw some wind turbines in the distance and asked if that was what made the wind. Brilliant! ;D
Also, there is the age old, fun game of kicking the stone along as you walk.
You lot are just unfit...

Pfft. The last time we ascended a hill you nearly died several times; the only reason you didn't croak it right then and there was because we were in the magical fictional realm of Innerleithen, where death does not exist.

That wasn't a hill - that was a vertical piece of grass.
If we had followed the actual path like I pointed out, I'd have been fine.
And we'd have missed more than we already had, but that's not the point...

So you yourself admit proper hill-walking nearly killed you. Following a path isn't hill-walking, it's path-walking. I should take you on a proper hill-walk, just so you can see how strenuous it really is.
I won't though, because I'm not that stupid.

I have been up most hills in Scotland - and by that I mean Munros and the Cheviot, Tinto, Grey Mare's Tail is pretty darn awesome...
I can do hill walking - I'm just not really fit enough... It's fun though. I love it. Particularly when you get to the top cause then it's all downhill. And there are awesome views...
I used to do it every weekend and I was an Explorer Scout - do you think I've never been up a hill? Don't be so stupid! Why do you think I suggested it?
And by suggesting it, I meant a hill that's not that bad, ie. Tinto.

Well count me out, I hate hill-walking. Needless exercise for a view you could get from a postcard. Or if you're particularly cool and rich, a helicopter or a micro-lite.
In fact, that's what I'll do. I'll build a scrap micro-lite and meet you all at the top. We'll see who has more fun that way.

And if you don't reach the top before or on time, I'll just imagine you've had less fun (eg. it got stuck or broke or something)...

I'll add to Pete's fun by setting up an SAM site somewhere in the hillsides; that'll make his ascent more adrenaline-fuelled. When's it gonna fire? When's it gonna fire??
Or I may attach myself to his vehicle by my ankle and see what happens.
