Has anyone got the original movies of Frankenstein and Dracula and such like? Reading Frankenstein has put me in the mood to actually watch the films (which I've never done, if that's any incentive to do this. The closest I've come to watching a movie about Frankenstein or Dracula was Van Helsing...)
Good idea?

I highly approve of this idea. We could endeavour to acquire all the old Universal horrors like The Wolfman and Creature From The Black Lagoon.
However, if it's Dracula you're after, then I suggest we buy British. Christopher Lee is the master and if timed properly, we could celebrate the release of one of Hammer's new horrors.

Scratch that last bit. "The Woman In Black" is their next offering, but it's not out until next year.

Project nine from outer space should be on that list. As far as old films go, it's the accidental Airplane of it's generation. And there is an airplane in it.

Only in the 50's. Hell, even The Asylum wouldn't let you pull half the shit Ed Wood tried to get away with, and they gave us "Mega-Shark Vs. Giant Octopus".

Wasn't Mega Shark vs Giant Octopus a love film, though?

I'll take your word for it, Pete.
Also, I had another idea - we could dress up as characters from these films or the books. And we could have it at Halloween. At night. In the dark. While a storm rages outside the castle...
