Alright, muppets. Let's find out if you can do this exam I wrote aimed at 7yr olds. The tone had to be kept as simplistic as possible (so as not to fry their brains) but I did what I could to work some subversion in. F'r instance, I made the girl better at football (that'll confuse them) and I managed to bring war and nationalism into it before the end. Neat-o. It doesn't say that it's attached, but says in the preview that its removed. Let's see if it works. Attachments:

How many friends did they have? How do you know this?
That sounds like a maths question!

Could also be construed as a comprehension question, which is the theme of the exam. You'll have to read the story pretty close to figure it out. Answers are at the very bottom.

Shouldn't that be in past tense?

Well spotted, Becks. Hopefully they'll just change it themselves but I might have to go through it again for an edit (writing in one tense is SO HARD).
And Tom, you should have seen the sample exam paper they sent me. Apparently, you go to the Tower of London if you're writing a project about castles 0_o'.
