Don't worry, it's weeks away. We'll manage fine.

I relayed this situation to my mother this afternoon. Even she shook her head in despair. (And also agreed that we should probably opt for somewhere indoors rather than a park, given the weather.)
I liked that Japanese restaurant we visited last year, just as a suggestion. Ichiban would be cheaper though.

I think I've already said this in this thread but I haven't been there in a while and would love to go there! ;D

Awwe damn. I had to reschedule my flight, because it got cancelled, and now it's at 6AM, the 4th.

Nine days. Not that I'm getting antsy about this or anything. I'm being proved right, after all.

Book a table at Ichiban, then across to Muse (where we have also booked a table, of course.)?

*proverbial spanner*
Would this be a good time to mention that at the moment nothing is less appealing to me than Japanese food?
P.S. Tom, I will require your floor.

You could just skip coming to Ichiban, then. Unless someone makes another awesome suggestion.
Also, should we maybe e-mail/text Andy so he knows what we've decided?

Or we could find a place that everyone is happy with. It shouldn't be too hard. How about the filling station? Sure, the food style is the other side of the Pacific, but it's still on the Pacific, so that, by some convoluted logic counts as a compromise, right? There is always the pizza hut style approach as well - simple and less expensive - plus PIZZA - what's not to like? As long as we're decided by Wednesday we might actually be on time to book a table. Crazy As for my floor... I'm afraid it's been booked that night for the world Twister championship. Let's see if we have any other openings... Oh, look like both the bath and the couch are free that night. Would you like to make a booking?

Exams are done.
I'm all in favour of the mass-booking of Ichiban and Muse, and if you don't like japanese food, Muse do pizzas etc.
Either this weekend or early next week, any objections?
