I make a direct offer to El Rey: "How about a match? One on one. I win, you join us free. I lose, we'll pay you and extra 50%." I then flash the Tag Belt, in case the incentive of defeating a champion spurs him in to action.

Well, the company is the one who manages the fees but it just so happens that the clerk is so bored that he overhears your challenge to El Ray and agrees to the conditions. The two of you follow him outside to a courtyard round the back of the building, with a gradual crowd of also-bored PLS members drifting in to watch the fight that's being set up in the sparring square; a patch of dirt in which members practise hand-to-hand combat. The billing is made, bets are placed, and the bout begins! You get two rolls to start, thanks to Flash-Flood. How do you open?

I look to Pete, and back to Deiter. "We'd like a moment in private to discuss your proposal." I say, clasping the plans and moving with Pete into a private corner. And discuss it we shall, in PM

I attempt a clothesline (Can't remember if I get 2 ACTIONS or just 2 rolls for the first, I'm thinking it's the latter? Anyway, rolls are: 17 & 6)

~~Tsunami~~
Let's make it two rolls from now on; the best roll will be the one used.
[Clothesline] Tsunami: 17 & 6 SM: 5 (-1) Target: 5 [Success]
The two of you spring from your corners and there's an almighty wallop as your forearm collides with El Rey's masked face. The smaller wrestler bounces off the dirt and springs to his feet, attempting to drop-kick you before you can react.
[Dropkick dodge/counter] Tsunami SM: 5 (-1)

Fire Bear heads to the relic shop - out of interest more than actually wanting to buy anything...

With your new animal friends you visit the relic shop next. Opening the door, you enter a musty-smelling store littered with what appears to be junk and 'antique' furniture, the dated kind that no-one wants sitting around in their house. You meander through it all, browsing as you go, and reach the cashier's desk.
"Welcome!" he says, and shows you what's on offer.
(Some relics can be equipped, others may sell for more than they are bought for, and others have special effects that can eithr be used once or be re-used. Effects are unknown until purchased or conditions are met).
Relic Shop -) Brass Lantern: 500g -) Hannya Mask: 2000g -) Genji Glove: 5000g -) Gembox: 10,000g -) Ancient Ring: 20,000g

Dodge: 9
If successful, then I try a leg drop [ROLL: 14]

[Dropkick Dodge] Tsu: 9 SM: 5 (-1) Target: 6 [Success]
[Leg-Drop] Tsu: 14 SM: 5 (-1) Target: 17 [Success]
You bat the dropkick away and then leg-drop El Rey as he hits the ground. It's a solid hit, and the hard dirt is making those drops much more punishing. Stunned, El Rey slowly tries to get to his feet. And now you're gonna have to roll for a Kayfabe:
[Kayfabe] Tsu SM: 5 (-1)

Myself and Pete, finished our discussion, turn back to Deiter.
"We think it would be best if we can go somewhere more private to discuss this more throughroully. You clearly know what that is, so we'd rather not rush into a deal until we clarify some things."

Point: Only if the fight goes his way.
[Kayfabe] Tsu: 13 SM: 5 (-1) Target: 5 [Fail]
As you drag him to his feet by his head, El Rey suddenly delivers a series of punches to your abdomen, doubling you up. He then grabs your shoulders, hops up, and attempts a Hurricanrana!
[Hurricanrana Counter] Tsu SM: 3
~~Starlong & Pete~~
Deiter weighs the two of you up for a moment, then signals you to follow him. You head for another elevator at the back of the floor, a hi-tech one with a biometric lock and two security men guarding it. Deiter shows his I.D., punches in a passcode, and then puts his eyes to the scanner, which confirms his identity. The elevator opens and you step inside. There is only two destinations on the panel; this floor and the top secret B3. Deiter presses 'B3'. The elevator closes and descends.
There's no talking on the way down, and when the elevator doors open again you are greeted by several security men who escort you and Deiter to his office, which is found down some corridors and stairwells with an eerie similarity to those found in the Aeto building. The office is unlocked by one of the security men and you are let inside. The office is modest, and in the far wall is a large window that looks out onto what appears to be a vast hangar full of large-scale equipment. Researchers and technicians are wandering about on the hangar floor and on the catwalks above. Deiter takes a seat behind his desk; he has no seat to offer either of you.
"So, gentlemen," he says, setting the documents you gave him on his desk. "What exactly did you wish to 'clarify'?"

"Well as you know there's a lot of information there. The schematics for a device that instantly heals physical wounds... It could change the world... And I'm eager to proivde it to you because it can without a doubt help people, and that's what the Adventurer's Society does. We help people." then I murmur "And make money."
"The other mass of information though, concerning the 'D.E.X 243' project... I'm nervous because you want us to conceal that we found it. I need to know the reason for that before I can hand the papers over."
"You've looked at them briefly yourself, and we can tell you that the result of the project was evil to the core and an affront to the natural order. But if you take apart the pieces that made up that monstrosity, they can be well applied elsewhere. In the Aeto building, there was the most advanced technology I ever saw. I want the benefits of that to be used, but not if it means another DEX"
I turn to Pete, "Right?" I say, giving him the chance to add anything.

I stare vacantly for a second, remembering the horrors which I saw in that accursed place. I shake this off and give Deiter a stern look.
"I agree, the benefits could be tremendous. However, if you'd rather we destroy all the evidence then I have no problems with the decision. The monster that lurked in that facility was worse than any I've ever seen or ever hope to see. Maybe it's safer if we keep all of it a secret."
